Cheryl Wilbraham
WATERCOLOUR ARTIST
Whilst best known for my botanical paintings and studies of plants and flowers, my work is varied in both subject and treatment. Living and working in South Derbyshire, horticulture, the countryside, and my local environment provide the inspiration for my paintings.
I am a Fellow of The Society of Botanical Artists, receiving the St. Cuthberts Mill Award in 2010 and I am the recipient of a RHS Silver – Gilt Medal in Botanical Painting (BBC Gardener’s World Live 2010). I am also a member of Peak District Artisans with whom I regularly exhibit and I am a versatile artist and qualified tutor.
Testimonials
"Your exquisite greeting cards arrived just now from my postman. I opened the package immediately as I was so excited to receive them! They are SO GORGEOUS! Even more magnificent in “real life” than on your website! I LOVE THEM!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to send them to me. I’ll enjoy using them, that is, if I can bear to part with them!"

"I wanted to show you my beautiful original watercolour picture framed & hung. I'm attaching two pictures so you can see a close up & how the colors of the Cosmos flows with the fabric of the nook window treatment. The picture is hung near the entrance to our family room, the nook & the kitchen so everyone sees it, but especially so I see it throughout the day".

"Having just bought a fabulous watercolour painting of Anemones by Cheryl Wilbraham, cannot stop looking at it, it’s lovely, and I’m thrilled to bits with it. I have also had a painting lesson from Cheryl in July, bought for me by my son and daughter in law, and found Cheryl charming and very easy to learn from and inspired me to carry on painting."

"Many thanks for the photograph you sent of the snapdragon. Thank you also for a great workshop which I enjoyed very much -a lovely relaxing atmosphere, an excellent tutor - all in all, a marvellous day watercolour painting. I can thoroughly recommend a workshop with Cheryl."

"Cheryl Wilbraham is a notable painter. Whether her works in botanical art are life size or enlarged they have impact, are lovely to look at and have great wall appeal. A respected teacher of flower painting, she is a good demonstrator and gives hands-on advice and guidance at her workshops.
